The entire process of net cage aquaculture for salmon and other high-value fish species can be supported by ROVs for cage inspection, fish monitoring, and dead fish removal, enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring fish safety throughout the operation.
ROV Deploy & Application:
(1) Drop the ROV inside the nets and look around the nets 360° at a fixed depth of about 1/2 meter to check for leaks.
(2) Observation of fish health.
(3) Check the bottom of the nets and salvage any dead fish if any found.
(4) Return to the surface, re-drop the ROV on the exterior of the netting, and check the netting anchor chains one by one.
(5) Play back the video and organize the netting patrol report.
