Return & Refund Policy
Due to the specialized and technical nature of underwater ROV products, all returns are subject to prior authorization.
Return Eligibility
Returns may be accepted only if all of the following conditions are met:
A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is obtained from CHARPIE in advance
The product is unused, unpowered, unsubmerged, and in original condition
All original accessories, cables, packaging, and documentation are included
The return request is submitted within 7 days of delivery
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
Products that have been powered on, tested, submerged, or deployed
Customized, modified, or made-to-order systems
Products damaged due to improper use, mishandling, or environmental exposure
Consumable components (e.g. seals, batteries, O-rings) unless DOA
DOA (Dead on Arrival)
If a product is dead on arrival (DOA), the customer must notify CHARPIE within 48 hours of delivery, including photos or video evidence.
After verification, CHARPIE will offer one of the following options:
Replacement unit
Repair at no cost
Refund (at CHARPIE’s discretion)
Refund Terms
Approved refunds will be processed after inspection and verification of the returned product.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method
Original shipping, customs duties, and taxes are non-refundable
A restocking fee (typically 10–20%) may apply for non-defective returns
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a confirmed manufacturing defect
The product must be properly packaged and insured during return shipment.
